awarded Grants

The PFPE is proud to present a check for $1,800 to the whole 5th grade class at Westwood. This donation will help to cover the cost of admission to the Detroit Zoo for their upcoming field trip. Pictured are the 5th grade teachers. 

The PFPE proudly presented a check for $1,530 to Mrs. Lehman's 2nd grade class at Oakwood. This donation will cover the cost of admission to Boulder Ridge for their upcoming field trip. Pictured are Mrs. Lehman and Mrs. Wiborn. 

The PFPE happily presented a check for $512.18 to Mrs. Beckett's 3rd grade class at Westwood, that will be used for a classroom library nook. Pictured are Mrs. Beckett and PFPE board member Doug Logel. 

The PFPE is proud to present a check for $450 to Mrs. Edwards 4th grade class at Westwood, that will be used for a house sorting project. Pictured are Mrs. Edwards and Westwood principal Mr. Kenroy. 

The PFPE is proud to present a check for $1,500 for the entire 3rd grade class at Westwood, that will help offset some costs for 150 students to attend Swim Safety. Pictured are 3rd grade teacher Mr. Wesche and PFPE member Doug Logel. 

The PFPE is proud to present a check for $1,200 to the 6th grade teachers at the Middle school, that will help offset some costs for 120 students to attend Camp Henry.

The PFPE awarded a $250 classroom grant to Mrs. Burns' 3rd grade class. The funds will be used to purchase flexible seating for the classroom.   Pictured is teacher Mrs. Burns who applied for the grant. 

Miss Bos' 4th Grade classroom received a classroom grant from the PFPE. Pictured are PFPE Treasurer Jonathan Bair and Teacher Lindsey Bos.

The PFPE awarded a $1,000 classroom grant to the entire 2nd grade to go to Boulder Ridge for a field trip.  Pictured is teacher Ms. Cole who applied for the grant. Enjoy the trip kids! 

All DK classes received a grant to support their field trip to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum.
